News You Can Use - December, 2000
Ever eaten a person's head before? I have.
(She was delicious.)
Ever met a man who could *really* read your mind? I have.
Ever wanted a FREE holiday gift just for reading this message?
The details are in this month's issue of Joe Vitale's famous
"News You Can Use!" e-newsletter, which begins right now...
* Early last month I received the following email:
"Before I'm daring to ask you a question I would like to send
you my
head. It will be delivered in a box and is not possible to deliver
on your
PO-box, because you have to sign for it. Could you please give me
an
address where Federal Express could deliver you this package? (It's
free of charge!)
Joe, don't worry I'm not a vampire, but I will send you my head
imprinted in the chocolate and as you probably expect, I will then
feel
more comfortable to ask some questions like: Would you please assist
me with
my first step to the marketing world?
--- Eliska Went, The Netherlands, http://www.trendychocolate.com
Naturally I asked for her edible head. Why? Because her letter was
truly hypnotic. Again, "Hypnotic Writing" strikes another
home run.
How can you make *your* requests more engaging?
How can you send "your head" to someone to get their attention?
Eliska already has some marketing blood in her. That's evident
from her letter to me. But you can do this, too. Just think a little
more
outrageously and courageously. Be bold!
And yes, you should visit Eliska's website. Her personalized edible
chocolate gift from Belgium is a brilliant idea. Think of the Christmas
gift possibilities!
* If you want to learn how to write with hypnotic power, then sign
up
for my "Hypnotic Writing" e-course, to begin again January
16th.
You'll get three detailed lessons on how to write sales letters, news
releases, and ads that GRAB and HOLD and PERSUADE people.
You'll also get bonus articles by NLP masters, persuasive writers,
and one from one of the greatest direct marketing minds in history.
On top of all that, you'll ALSO get my personal coaching and
consulting. It's all done by email, over a three week period. Results
are guaranteed.
You'll love the class, too. Here's what Dr. Scott Lewis said---
"Joe Vitale is a publicity master! With just one BRILLIANT press
release he wrote for me, I landed an appearence on THE VIEW within
72 hours! I've since gone on to use his hypnotic writing techniques
to
write my own press releases and have appeared on INSIDE EDITION,
EXTRA, FOX NEWS CHANNEL and many other top shows. This is
one of the best investments I've ever made and easily worth 10X the
price I paid!"
Seating is limited to 15 people. Investment is $1,500. Only
prerequisite is to read "Hypnotic Writing" http://www.HypnoticWriting.com
E-mail me right now to reserve your spot. Consider it a gift to
yourself to help you make money in 2001. Questions? Want even more
details?
My email is joe@mrfire.com.
* Here's a way to make money by just talking or even just e-mailing:
Tell others about my Hypnotic Writing e-class. For every person you
send to me that takes the class, I'll give you $250. Just have people
contact me and use your name. When they pay, I'll pay YOU. Why not
announce the class to your friends, or post it on your favorite newsletter?
And if you want to be sure you get credit for any leads you send to
me,
have them write to me in care of yourname@mrfire.com. That's right,
just insert YOUR actual name in the "yourname" spot and
I'll get the email
and know the lead is from you. Pretty nifty, eh?
* Do you have a one liner to anchor in people's minds so they don't
forget you? During the November elections here in Austin, Ann Kitchen
saturated the city with signs saying, "Put a Kitchen in the House."
That's pretty memorable. I can't even tell you the name of her
running mate. Apparently he or she didn't have a catchy slogan.
And the proposed rail system for Austin was voted down.
I believe it's because the people against it had a great one liner:
"Costs too much, does too little." That phrase summed up
their
argument and was all you had to remember to vote no.
The people *for* the rail system didn't have a good one line slogan
to encapsulate their argument. They did have a phrase, though. It
was "Houston or Austin? Vote YES for the rail."
Huh? It doesn't make any sense, does it? No wonder they lost.
What's *your* one liner? Your slogan? Your tag line?
What's the one thing people remember when they walk away
from meeting you?
* If you want to get your next book in print AND available as an e-book,
contact 1stBooks Library at publish@1stbooks.com or 812-961-3134.
Since 1997, they've published more than 4,300 titles. I'm doing my
next
book ("Spiritual Marketing") with them. Write them. Tell
them I sent you.
* Are you near Austin or San Antonio? I'm moving to Wimberely---
a spiritual, artistic, small Hill Country community---and want to
meet new
friends in the area. I may also start having marketing meetings in
my new
home. If you or someone you know is interested, write me:
austin@mrfire.com.
* What online class would you like to see me teach next? I've taught
them on "Spiritual Marketing," "E-Book Secrets,"
and of course "Hypnotic
Writing." Possible new classes could be---
"Outrageous Marketing! The 10 Secrets of Tycoons to Make You
Rich"
"Publicity Secrets: How to Get Famous--in less than 90 days!"
"Passive Income: How to Create Residual Income for Yourself"
Which class would you take? What other classes would you like to see
me teach online? Let me know with a quick email to poll@mrfire.com
* Time for a little bragging...
"Amazing!! I followed the techniques revealed by Joe in his tapeset
and was able to create a "Barnum" event to promote the local
playhouse
(theater). Local affiliates of all three major networks covered the
event
as well as local, national, and international radio interviews. Tens
of
thousands of dollars of free advertising was achieved simply by following
Joe's advice." -- Greg Manning, Sun Publications, Corpus Christi,
TX.
Greg is referring to my tapeset with Nightingale-Conant, now a best-
seller, titled, "The Power of Outrageous Marketing!" You
can now listen
to several audio excerpts from the series and get much more information

* Remember to keep your off-line marketing going. It's tempting to
drop
everything and focus on the Internet for all your business. But not
everyone is on the net. One friend, Walter Bebirian, a photographer,
had
this to say:
"My business card (which is at http://www.the-photographer.com)
is
still working wonders - and as it goes - I am finding out while handing
out in
the street both my business card and a newly designed postcard for
the new site
- that a GREAT NUMBER OF PEOPLE have nothing to do with the internet."
Learn to make the net work for you, but certainly don't forget the
rest
of the world in the process. Not all of your prosects are online yet!
* An astonishing website overloaded with links for every kind
of news service you can imagine is at http://www.assignmenteditor.com/
* If you're into health and fitness, martial arts and getting "fighting
fit," then click on http://www.DragonDoor.com.
Whoever writes the copy
for their catalog of books and videos must be on steriods. It's no
fat,
all muscle, rip out your wallet and pay for their goods NOW sales
copy.
(FLASH! Turns out the copywriter is John Du Cane, who gets my
newsletter every month just like you!)
* Websites should be fun and interactive to get people to remember
them
and want to re-visit. Whatever you sell should be secondary. A "mind
reader" friend (and client) of mine just put up such a site.
The opening is
hypnotic. Be sure to try his demo. Can he predict YOUR choice? Go
see!
(If you're a meeting planner, you MUST see this!) http://www.amazingrex.com
* You might qualify for a free color printer. You must be doing a
high
volume of printing and use their company for ALL supplies - but hey
-
that's a fair trade for a FREE $5,000 printer. www.freecolorprinters.com.
* Finally, here's your holiday gift from me this year: Just go to
the
following website and download a free (yes, it's totally free) 24-page
manual on how to write your own marketing plans. This nifty, practical
tool
can help you get more business. http://www.actionplan.com/pdffiles.html
"The principal reason why the average person does not realize
his
ideals is because he has not learned to think what he wants to think."
-- C. D. Larson, "Your Forces And How to Use Them" (1912)
(Read the book http://website.lineone.net/~christianlarson/index.htm)
Happy Holidays!
Joe Vitale
