What's the real secret to making money online today?

It can be summed up in one word.

This one word is practiced by all the most successful
online marketers. Mark Joyner of Aesop does it. My
co-authors, Larry Dotson and Jim Edwards, both do it.
My partner, David Garfinkel, does it. I do it, too.

What am I talking about? What's the one word that can
bring you the gold here in cyberspace?

Sharing.

That's right. The word is sharing.

For example, Mark Joyner has sold most of my e-books,
from "Hypnotic Writing" to my recent "Hypnotic Marketing."
While my traditional publishers always paid me a tiny sliver
of a royalty for every book sold, Mark pays me a nice
chuck of the money for each sale.

He shares.

But he doesn't just share with me. All the affiliates he has
also make a nice profit every time they sell an eproduct from
Aesop. Consequently, they WANT to sell more product. They
are motivated.

My coauthors have done the same thing with me. I've never
met Larry Dotson. Yet he is my coauthor for "The Hypnotic
Writer's Swipe File" and now for "Hypnotic Selling Tools."
Larry did most of the work on those projects. Yet he was
totally comfortable with sharing the credit with me, and
with sharing the profits with me. In fact, he sees sharing
as THE main key to his own success.

Jim Edwards did the same thing. He wrote most of our
book, "How to Write Your Own Outrageously Successful
E-Book---in less than 7 days." Jim was willing to share
author credit with me, as well as the profits with me. Of
course, he also set up an affiliate program where people
who sell our book also share in the proceeds.

David Garfinkel and I are using the same principle in
our Forbidden Secrets University monthly teleconference
series. When I came up with the idea for FSU and asked
David for his help, he was willing to accept a small percent
as his fee. Instead, I offered him half of all the proceeds.
And now that we are creating an affiliate program, we are
making very juicy arrangements for our salespeople to
receive large profits from our sales.

All this sharing creates win-win-wins for all involved.

It makes everyone happy. It keeps everyone loyal.
It maintains enthusiasm. And everyone profits.

To me, this is the real secret to making money online.

In the off-line word far too many people want sales but
don't want to share much of the revenue. Print publishers
still pay a pittance to authors. Sales people still don't usually
make hefty profits from any sales.

In short, the off-line world hasn't learned how to share.

The online world---at least the most successful people
online---share generously.

Let that be a lesson to all who want to make a buck online.
Be willing to share the wealth, and you'll become wealthy.

In short, share and grow rich.
