But first...
I was in Chicago recently for the filming
of a movie designed to awaken humanity.
A movie? Who would have thought I'd
ever be in a movie? But I put it on my "intention" list, used the steps in my
book "The Attractor Factor," and let
it happen.
And it did.
I'm honored to have a part in it and can't
wait for its release. Unfortunately, I'll have
to keep it all locked away as "The Secret" until November. Stay tuned...
We had a blast at the National Guild of
Hypnotists convention last month. My
favorite experience was seeing all the
people walk right by me, not recognizing
me at all.
Letting go of 80 pounds makes me a new
man. One person said I looked like the actor
Robert DeNiro. Another person said I should
get half off on all my future flights. Ah, the
compliments.
See three short videos from the event,
made by my beautiful Nerissa, at
http://drjoevitale.blogspot.com/
We're off to Ohio as you read this, to visit
family and friends. My father is 80 years old.
After eight decades of health, he's starting
to fade. Please keep him in your thoughts.
Meanwhile...

ready to shake, rattle, and roll as the
music cranks up and the news unfolds.
Here we go... WANTED: Nitro Marketing is seeking applications
from people to work with them on a high level hypnotic marketing project. See http://nitromarketing.com/million
INVITE: The Yahoo! group on "The Attractor Factor" is
doing famously. Participants just finished a 30-day
Meditation for Money and a lot of people have done
really well with it -- so much so that they've decided to
do it again! There's lots of activity and much fruitful discussion. Consider joining. There's zero cost and it's a terrific support group. So why not? Sign up at: http://www.groups.yahoo.com/groups/theattractorfactor
TIP: Bringing public domain material online is still a
valid way to make money. Why more people aren't doing
this is beyond me. To see a recent example, done by
Pat O'Bryan and myself, go to --

CASH: If you're still looking for more money now,
consider cleaning up your beliefs about getting it.
EFT-expert Brad Yates, a remarkable belief-clearing
guide, joined forces with me to help you find the cash.

LESSON: Want to hear something embarassing?
I'm always amazed when someone goes out of their
way to write a sales letter that is truly great, but then leaves off something that will actually destroy their results.
For example, someone wrote me an 11-page letter,
doing their best to get me interested in their mission.
It involved a movement to get people to laugh more.
Well, I'm all for laughter.
I read the letter, got interested, and wanted to know
more. The author ended his pitch by asking me to
call him. I reached for the phone....
But guess what?
He left off his phone number.
And he left off his email address.
He didn't include a business card.
His stationary didn't have a letterhead.
There was no return address on the envelope.
And the website mentioned in his letter isn't live yet.
In short, I have no way to contact him.
What in the world was he thinking?
This is yet another example of how we often shoot
ourselves in the foot.
It's called self-sabotage.
I have an e-book on this topic, coauthored with a
cognitive therapist.
It's at http://www.endselfsabotage.com
Stories like this are not un-common, though.
In the new M2S program going online soon, called "Hypnotic Marketing Applied," I tell the true story
of a person who increased his response 100%
by adding one line to his marketing materials.
What was that one line?
His contact information.
But don't think the pros don't make this mistake.
At the NGH convention, I handed out application
forms for my mentoring program. What did we
leave off of the sales page? You guessed it:
Our contact information. Sheesh. It should be http://www.marketingmyhypnosis.com
And you thought I was perfect.
Learn from my mistakes.
GIFT: What's the simplest way for you to achieve
your goals and dreams? Find out at zero cost at http://mrfire.simpleology.com/
TIP: Subscriber and long-time friend William Wittmann
just released an ebook guaranteed to help you find
serenity. Yes, calm and at peace -- now. See http://outrageous.yesserene.hop.clickbank.net
CRUISE: Imagine having breakfast, lunch and dinner
for a whole week with the great gurus and millionaire
maestros you normally just read and hear about.
And they'll be on a ship so they can't escape unless
they leap overboard. Interested? Get details at http://www.MarketingCruise.com/joe There are only 27 spots left, so you best hop to it.
(And yes, I'll be one of the ones on board the ship.)
REQUEST: I'm looking for the old issues of this
newsletter, the ones prior to 1999. If you have them,
please send them to my new webmaster, Charles
Lewis, at charles@medteconline.com. He wants
to add them to the archives.
NEW: The DVD collection -- a total of 18 DVDs in two beautiful boxed sets -- of the historic Spiritual Marketing Super Summit is now ready for pre-order at a discount. http://www.attractorfactorblueprint.com/prerelease
TIP: What's becoming more popular than e-mail
for instant communication?
When my hero, mentor and long-time friend Dan Poynter
was visiting here, he introduced me to SMS. That stands
for Short Message Service. I knew of it but never realized
how useful it could be.
Basically, it's a way to type a short e-mail-like message
on your mobile phone, and send it instantly to another
person's mobile phone. Their phone rings, they look
at the phone's screen, and see your message. Done.
Since learning about SMS, I have used it numerous
times. I love it. When you can't make a voice call,
or don't want to interrupt someone or get into a
long phone conversation, a quick SMS can save
the day.
Note: Check your cell phone's coverage and service
agreement, as some providers charge extra to send
SMS messages.
INSIGHT: A friend recently asked me, "Do infomercials
still work?"
I've been involved in numerous infomercials. I wrote one, promoted another, appeared in a third. I think they are a powerful way to reach the masses. But they can also be a waste of money.
I know one person who ran an infomercial and got
a total of three calls.
Two were complaints.
But then there are infomercials that create tycoons.
Kevin Trudeau's, for his book, "Natural Cures 'They'
Don't Want You To Know About," is a good example.
The man has sold over two million copies of his book.
He didn't do that through just bookstores. Having a
powerful infomercial helped drive the sales.
But as with anything else in marketing, you have to
test, test and test again.
Yes, informercials can work.
Yes, advertising can work.
Yes, email marketing can work.
It's how you go about the marketing that makes the
difference.
Don't dismiss any avenue to your prospects.
Test them all.
RESOURCE: If you're, well, hypnotized by the field of hypnosis, you might want to visit the Hypnosis Museum. It's online at http://www.angelfire.com/pr/hypno/
NEW: "The Network Marketing Magazine" is coming
soon. John Milton Fogg is breathing life into the old
magazine once called "Upline." He says "The Network
Marketing Magazine is all about the reader's personal development and professional growth. We take facts and data and turn them into knowledge and wisdom. We present ideas and ideals, principles and practicals. Neat. Clean. Straight forward. And when we are at our best - elegant." Anything by John is a masterpiece. See http://TheNetworkMarketingMagazine.com
PERSONAL: I just finished my fourth fitness contest.
I've lost 80 pounds and feel fantastic. The support I've
gotten from people on this list has been phenomenal.
When you get down to the nitty gritty, changing your
body is a one person job, but support from anyone
can help you do anything. If you're trying to accomplish anything big in your life, look for or create a support team. I'll tell my own story to fitness in 2006, but you can get a glimpse of my secrets, and see pictures of the new me, at http://www.GladiatorGym.com (Be sure to see the Before-After photos there.)
And, of course, one support group is online at http://www.groups.yahoo.com/groups/theattractorfactor
That's it for this month. Till next time, consider...
"If you don't know you can't, you can.
If you don't know you can, you can't."
