The Abundance Manifesto: Secret #2

As I mentioned in an earlier post, over the next few weeks I’m going to reveal ten principles of abundance. I’m calling them The Abundance Manifesto. This is to help pave the way for my new audio program, The Abundance Paradigm: Moving from the Law of Attraction to the Law of Creation (coming out late October).

Again, since I’m sculpting these thoughts as they occur to me, please be forgiving in reviewing them. In fact, what I’d love is your opinion. Please comment on each to help me refine them all. The end result will be a useful set of insights for you, me, and everyone else.

Here’s the second one:

Thou shall worship passion.

The scarcity based view of the world worships money. The abundance view worships passion. When you focus on doing what you are passionate about, money will follow (as long as you practice the other nine secrets in The Abundance Manifesto). Passion refers to the joy you get from doing something you care about and feel inspired to do. Passion is the energy of Divine inspiration living through you. When you express passion, you express love. When you live from love, you are experiencing the abundant essence of the Universe.  Take your eyes off money and put them on following your bliss; on following your life calling or mission. That’s the direct road to abundance.

Attracting Cars: Abundance or Scarcity?

The other day someone twittered a note to me asking —

“Why do you need 7 cars? Why not sell one and give the money to a homeless shelter?”

I found the question revealing.

The person asking the question assumes it’s an either-or world; either you buy the car or you give the money for it away to some good cause.

Sounds logical, doesn’t it?

Within that kind of thinking, it is logical.

But that’s scarcity thinking.

That’s thinking there isn’t enough.

Is that actual reality?

Abundance thinking, on the other hand, would say that you can do both; you can buy the car and you can donate money to the homeless.

But most people don’t see this.

They don’t see it because they’re stuck in their paradigm (or mindset) and don’t know it.

They’re seeing the world through their mental “box of beliefs.”

This isn’t their fault.

That’s how they were programmed.

I totally understand it.

I was once broke, struggling, desperate, and unhappy.

In those days I would have thought the same thing: there isn’t enough to go around.

But was that actually true?

Was that reality?

It was real and true only to the extent that I lived from the mindset that believed it.

According to the “box of beliefs” in my head at that time in my life, the world looked bleak.

But I’ve transcended that thinking.

Today I live from The Abundance Paradigm.

In other words, today I know I can have the cars *and* I can contribute just as much money or more to causes I believe in.

I’m living this. I’ve given money to friends to help them with the IRS or a struggling business; I’ve given money to causes and people I believe in, including complete strangers; I’ve donated to homeless shelters and to a group to end poverty; I’ve bought cars for family members; I’ve even funded a bold movement to end homelessness.

And I buy a car for myself when I feel inspired to do so.

How is this possible?

What’s the difference?

My thinking.

Yes, I have more money now, too, but that’s also a result of leaving scarcity thinking and moving into abundance thinking.

But I didn’t get to this new paradigm overnight.

It took decades of reading, thinking, trying, and more.

It wasn’t until I got a coach that I began to have the faster breakthroughs. From there, life became one of magic and miracles.

Which is why I created Joe Vitale’s Miracles Coaching ®.

I don’t want you to spend decades spinning your wheels; I want you to have results ASAP.

PS — The person who asked me about my seven cars also needs to learn how to count. I have nine cars. But it’s not about the cars. I work at home and rarely drive anywhere. It’s about the process and the passion. Learn more at — http://www.attractanewcar.com

Ghetto Physics, or, Beyond What the Bleep!?

Recently I got to meet Will Arntz, the director of the hit movie, “What the Bleep!?” He’s a swell guy, fun to hang with, and on to his next project with a movie called Ghetto Physics: Will the Real Pimps and Ho’s Please Stand Up?

He loaned me a private screening copy of the DVD. I watched it and it changed my life – but not in any way I expected.

bleep guy w Joe

The movie pushed some buttons in me. It says that in each moment there is a pimp and there is a “ho”. This dynamic is unconscious but can be found from the street to the boardroom.

As I watched Ghetto Physics, I felt defensive, alarmed, disgusted, and then on to entertained, educated, and finally enlightened.

I also made a life changing decision due to it.

I’ve been struggling with all the travel and all the speaking engagements I do. Russia. Poland. Peru. Canada. Bermuda. All over the states. All wanting repeat visits, too. Then there are all the new offers from China, Italy, and the Dominican Republic. The list goes on. It’s exhausting.

I confess public speaking has never been my cup of tea. Oh, I can do it, and get standing ovations for it. But it’s rarely been all fun. Truth is, I’d rather just stay home and write.

With that in mind, I wondered if I should stop speaking altogether.

After I watched Ghetto Physics, I wondered if I were a pimp or a ‘ho when it came to speaking gigs. I’m rarely driven by money alone, so most of the time my decision making is from passion.

What excites me? Do that. That’s been my motto.

But that’s not always the case.

With public speaking, I have too often done it for the money (except as a non-paid favor to a friend, as with every Un-Seminar Pat O’Bryan has ever done).

I decided I didn’t want to do anything just for the money. As I explain in my book, Attract Money Now, money shouldn’t be your motivator; love should be. Passion should be.

So I made the decision to not do any more speaking gigs, anywhere, at least for the rest of this year, and until I felt passionate about it.

I’ll of course stay open to new insights, opportunities and growth. I’m simply sharing with you how the movie Ghetto Physics got me to reflect on how I’m creating my reality, and how to refine it so I do more of what I consciously choose and love.

The enlightened view of the pimp-ho dynamic is this:  in every moment, you can be both.

Until then, though, you’re usually one or the other.

Maybe you can ask yourself this question: Are you doing what you love, or are you doing it for some other motive?

There’s nothing wrong with money, but you may not want it to be the love of your life.

Ao Akua,

Joe

Abundance Shifting

A few weeks ago, while I was recording my new audio program for Nightingale-Conant (The Abundance Paradigm: Moving from the Law of Attraction to the Law of Creation), I was inspired to share five ways to shift into the abundance mindset. Here’s one of them:

Most of us are so caught up in our thinking and reacting, feeling and fearing, that we miss the miracle of the moment. While I’m sure you’ve heard that before, how do you actually escape the monkey mind and move into the Divine?

One of my favorite meditations is where I lead people through a questioning process that takes them behind the curtain of life to find the wizard behind it all.

Here’s how it works…

It begins with asking you to notice your thoughts….You have them but if you can notice them, who’s doing the noticing?

It then asks you to notice your feelings, your emotions…You have those, too, but if you can experience them, who’s doing the experiencing?

It then moves to asking you to notice your body…You have one, obviously, but if you can notice your body and feel like you’re “something” or “someone” inside your body, who or what are you? Who’s noticing your body?

This background awareness — the “noticer” or “witness” — is essential to making the shift into The Abundance Paradigm.

As long as you associate with mind, body and feelings, you will remain separate from life and tend to come from scarcity, lack, limitation and fear; but when you shift to being the observer, you experience non-duality and live abundance, faith, trust, magic and miracles.

Of course, I’ve already talked about this in my best-selling audio program, The Awakening Course. It’s the fourth stage of awakening. This advanced spiritual thinking goes beyond my book The Attractor Factor, and Zero Limits, and even ho’oponopono. It goes beyond thinking period and into the direct experience of living from or even as the Divine.

Said another way, “Enlightenment is not what you think.”

Meaning, enlightenment can’t be thought, as well as enlightenment is not whatever definition you think it is. It’s not what you think. It’s behind your thinking.

My new audio program will go into all of this in great depth. It’s the most spiritual and experiential program of my career. It comes out late October. Of course, I’ll be sure to tell you about it when it does. You might also watch the Nightingale website for any news bulletins about it.

Till then, what are you observing — and who’s observing it?

Joe

The Abundance Network

I was interviewed about my new audio program (The Abundance Paradigm) while in Chicago recording it. The host asked, “Joe, with the economy in the tank and sinking, what are we to do?”

“How do you know it’s sinking?” I asked. “Where did you hear about it?”

He seemed surprised by my questions. But I didn’t give him a chance to reply. I went on saying —

“The only reason you think it’s terrible out there is because you are being programmed to think so by the mainstream media.”

The host stared at me as I went on my soapbox and continued —

“The media is trained to find bad news and broadcast it to you. The more they do it and you believe it, the worst the world looks. It then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. You live from the new paradigm of scarcity and the media, doing its job, broadcasts it. You don’t even see it happening. It feels real. You take it as reality.”

At that point I could have told the true story of how ABC News came to my home – twice – and interviewed me for hours. They even filmed an entire evening with me and celebrity fitness model Jennifer Nicole Lee during one of my Rolls-Royce Phantom Masterminds.

Six months later all that footage was edited down to barely three minutes of highly distorted “news.” The same news station that broadcast a slimy angle about my work also broadcast commercials for drugs with known side effects, such as death.

That’s mainstream news.

You might call it the Scarcity Network.

The Scarcity Network typically airs facts in negative terms and slants. For example, a reader sent me the following —

“Joe, just a further example for you of negative news.  The US originally thought that we lost 131,000 jobs in July, it is actually 77K jobs better and it is still packaged as bad news.  Then, some people feel that their job prospects are better so they decide to enter the labor force and we show an uptick in unemployment. Wouldn’t a headline of:  “US retains 77,000 more jobs than originally thought while more workers choose to enter the labor force” be a better headline?”

Yes, it would be a better headline. But the Scarcity Network won’t broadcast that. It’s not the programming they want you to have in your head. They need you to live in fear. They need you controlled. They’re not doing this out of any intentional conspiracy, but because they were programmed, too. This is their paradigm.

But I didn’t relate either of the above to my interviewer. Instead, I turned direction and said —

“But what if there was a different channel to watch or listen to? What if there was an Abundance Network and all it broadcast were inspiring stories of people succeeding, accomplishing, attracting and achieving? What if they spun everything in a good way?”

I continued with —

“We all know that there are people doing well in the world right now. If this alternative media broadcast their positive news, and that’s all you watched, you would soon be programmed to see the world as an abundant place. You would then create a self-fulfilling prophecy of abundance. You would then see abundance. You would then see opportunities. You would live in a world of miracles. That would then feel real.”

At that point I could have related the true story of the man who gave out credit cards to a handful of homeless people as a test to see what they would do with them. In every case, the homeless person used the card as they said they would, didn’t misuse it to buy drugs or alcohol, and even returned the card when done.

The Abundance Network would report this story to show the hope and responsibility in the destitute; the Scarcity Network would run a similar test but air what didn’t work, even if they had to make it up, or they would complain that the cards had low limits, etc.  They would find a weakness in an otherwise inspiring story. But they would focus on the weakness not to correct it but to communicate the unspoken programming, “See, told you homeless people were unreliable and its hopeless to try to help them!”

Back to my interview.

My host barely had time to stutter before I kept going with —

“Look. Both types of world exist right now — the lousy economy one as well as the abundant economy one. I’m not denying that. But it’s like an optical illusion. Depending on how you look, the image is either an old woman, or a young woman. Reality itself is neutral. The question is, which view are you going to let program you? Which do you want to live in?”

old woman illusion

I’m not aware of an Abundance Network yet. But until something like it exists — or until my new audio program comes out in late October or The Dr. Joe Vitale Show starts airing on CBS radio — what are you to do?

Here’s my suggestion —

Reprogram your mind.

Take charge of it.

Feed it the positive and you’ll see and then attract the positive.

You’ll “tune in” to the Abundance Network in your own mind. You’ll have a paradigm shift (a shift of your view of the world) and you’ll see abundance where you didn’t before. It’s basic Law of Attraction at work: you attract what you expect and believe. Just change the channel in your mind.

And then you can thumb your nose at the doomsayers out there.

You can become immune to them.

You can see reality as the grand optical illusion and choose which view of it best suits you.

How can you do this?

Go see — http://milagromanifestationmethod.com

It’s the single best thing you can do for yourself — short of Miracles Coaching — at this time in history.

It’ll tell you the true story of a broke man who found the secret to fulfilling virtually any desire you may have.

And it’ll tell you how to easily program your mind with the positive while you do something even easier than watching TV.

What station will you choose — the Scarcity Network or the Abundance Network?

It’s your move.

And your mind.

Choose wisely.
