The rains finally stopped here in Texas. All we have left are rivers where there used to be dry land.

The sun is out, the sky is clear, and I can return to the pool and read while I work on my tan.

Today I read the mind altering From Here to Here: Turning Toward Enlightenment by Gary Crowley.

It’s a wonderful companion to Zero Limits. In the beginning of it Crowley quotes Wei Wu Wei as saying:

“Free, we are not number One, the first of all our objects, but Zero – their universal and Absolute Subject.” (italics his)

The book contains insightful quotes and optical illusions to prove “you” aren’t in control of your life, so you might as well surrender to what is.

The book is a quick read unless you try to actually understand it. That will take time.

But the book is designed to carefully take you by the hand and lead you from here to, well, here.

It will definitely make you think, until the point where you decide to just watch the thinking.

Drop by drop the rain falls
    cooling the hot Texas earth

splash by splash the drops fall
    into Joe’s blue swimming pool

tap and tap the rain knocks
on the window where Joe is

A book is quietly being read
only not in the pool but in bed.

And together we traveled far and wide
    from Here to Here.

    The journey Divine.

    In Absolute Love
    and Profound Gratitude,

    Amy

Pascal: “All man’s miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room alone.”

Recently, I was having hard time getting control of my ego and just being ‘here’ watching.

    😳

Letting go is hard for the ego. It always wants to DO something, and that something is not an inspired action. If it comes from ego it can’t be.

Invariably, I find that when I let the ego drive, the anxieties and paranoia of the ego almost always cause some sort of destruction.

These low energies always cause what Steve Jobs (founder of Apple) calls a ‘reality distortion field’ to go up around me. The ego says, “Shields up! We’re under attack!”

But like Dr. Wayne Dyer said in his book ‘Gifts from Eykis’, “Anxiety doesn’t attack!”…but the subconscious doesn’t know that.

    …and so I mis-create.

When I let ego run things, it takes me further and further away from the source…from zero…from the ‘here’…

I get away from my true self.

    I become someone else.

    ————————————————————-

“Enlightenment is beyond self-improvement and spiritual seeking. It is the final resolution of a case of mistaken identity. It is the direct recognition of your eternal nature and the seeing through of who you have falsely believed yourself to be.”

    -Gary Crowley
    —————————————————————-

Mistaken identities don’t live ‘here’. They live ‘out there’.

Well, I just got back from being ‘out there’ on an ego trip…

…and it’s been raining a lot ‘here’ lately…but now the sun looks like it’s back out…

It’s still a little cloudy, but it’s really starting to get nice here now…

    I think I’ll stay a while.

Aloha, and I still love you Joe,

    Carl

    PS See you tomorrow…

Hi Joe, I just read your book ‘Spiritual Marketing’. I had heard from people who also read the Secret (like I did) , that your book was stunning and was seen as a sort of prelude for The Secret. So I bought Spiritual Marketing.
From the outside, the book seemed to me not very special, the cover looked actually not stunning at all, more business like. So I thought, what have I bought now?! But when I started to read, WOW!! It was like an overwhelming, blinding light shone from the pages, leaving me mesmerized and with nonstopping smiles from ear to ear 😀 😀
It blew me off my feet, I will read it again! I have 1 product (not yet ready) and I will use your recommandations to have it published.
You did a good thing by writing that book, thanks!!!
    Bye, Erna

    Greetings Joe, and everyone
    🙂
I live in Arizonia, we have a rainy season here called Monsoons. Rain to me is cleaning. Washing, changing the Ions in the air and cleaning the landscape. Rain is Ho’Oponopono for the environment around us.
    I love you, Ellie

    Namaste everyone,

Don’t know if you’ve ever visited http://www.inspirationpeak.com but I found this poem Joe that sums up the entanglement with our ego.

The poem is called The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

(sorry don’t know how link like my friend previously from the netherlands….and I am not blonde !

    The Invitation- Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
    for love
    for your dreams
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me about what planets are squaring your moon..
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow
If you have been opened by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closes
    from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
    mine or your own
    without moving to hide it
    Or fade it
    or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy
    mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstacy fill you to the tips of your
    fingers and toes
    without cautioning us to
    be careful
    be realistic
to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me
    is true
I want to know if you can disappoint another
    to be true to yourself.

If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray you own soul,
    If you can be faithless
    and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
    every day.
And you can source your own life
    from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure
    yours and mine
and still stand on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
    “Yes”

    It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have
I want to know if you can get up
after night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
    to feed the children
    .
It does not interest me who you know
or how you came to be here
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire with me
    and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom
    you have studied
I want to know what sustains you from the inside
    when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
    with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
    in the empty moments.

    Stay well everyone,

    Christina xx:razz:

After finally getting Zero Limits at Joe’s book-signing Saturday and reading half of it so far..I have come back here to say I thought I knew what I was talking about…

In my studies of Ho’oponopono outside of Joe’s book, I thought I had learned all that I needed to know about it.

    I was wrong.

And I realize now that there is no ‘out there’…my analogy was flawed on that point.

After reading the first few chapters of the book, it became apparent to me that the naysayers are also absolutely wrong about Joe and this book.

    THIS BOOK IS AMAZING.

Reading Zero Limits really is as mind-bending as they say it is…

You know, we can trace everything back to Zero.

EVERYTHING. You, me, your car, that building, the water you drink, the air you breath, this planet, your mind, your soul, your pets, the rocks on the bottom of the ocean, the magma in the Earth’s core, the moon, the stars, the billions of galaxies…every particle…everything began with the Source.

This is Quantum Ontology. Everything is connected because it all came from source. Therefore, it is Source. And the Source is conscious. Consciousness creates reality. We are conscious, because we are of source.

Everything that exists is actually conscious!

We can attract things or repel them, or the other way around… things can attract and repel us!

Now put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Gravity is a good example. The critics love to use this one…

Earth was created by or came from Source, we were created by Source to live on this planet. The earth attracts us to itself by the law of attraction because of mass. The other planets and the sun attract to each other in a harmonious balance.

All you have to do is study gravity, mass and weight; and the relationship between gravity, mass and distance. Note that the force never becomes zero no matter how far you travel. Perhaps this was the inspiration for the poem by Benjamin Thompson:

    All things
    by immortal power
    near or far
    to each other
    hiddenly linked are.
That thou cans’t not stir a flower
    without troubling a star.

Everything attracts…because it’s connected. It came from source and is connected to source. It all starts at Zero.

Gravity’s behavior is actually a proof that the Law of Attraction is real, but the critics can’t see past their learned ignorance.

    De docta ignorantia…

I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you.

Carl I love your energy. Because we are all connected then, critics have much to teach us even if they are…”unconscious”. Your poem speaks of the paradox…in “that thou cans’t not stir a flower without troubling a star”…No doubt Joe would attract many critics for all different reasons too…. they know they are connected “unconsciously” but can’t quite “get it” so they do what they have been unconsciously programmed to do… To me Joe is like a gardener planting seeds ….

Hey what a wonderful garden!!!!!Can’t wait to see those flowers bloom….in their own time. Sadly some buds may not open. :roll:But perhaps we can help a long the way – lets keep watering…:smile:

    Namaste
