You know you’ve made it when you can hire your favorite singer to perform just for you in your own living room.
About one year ago I hired Michelle Malone, my favorite singer/songwriter, to perform in our home for a few close friends.
I had her do it again last night. It was a wonderful evening of intimacy and creativity, and I even got to play my harmonica on one song with her.

Hi Marty. Yes, that is a portrait done around 1998. Nerissa hung it over the fireplace, not a shrine.
