It’s no wonder people who give their attention to the news and the shows depicting foul living and mirroring what the news reports on are so rife with pessimism, cynicism, and their inevitable result: anxiety and depression. Add to that the highly spun, inaccurate (many times deliberate), false and flat out libelous reporting and it’s no wonder you can’t get ahead, are anxious about everything and highly pessimistic.
Pessimism is not only bad for your health, it’s bad for the planet because pessimism saps motivation to take constructive action, and it is highly contagious; it is a mind virus (a negative meme). When it spreads, it is called memetic copying and it’s a powerful force. Some scientists believe memetic copying can actually alter our DNA.
From Wikipedia: Self-replication is any process by which a thing might make a copy of itself. Memes reproduce using the human mind and culture as their reproductive machinery.
Early research by John von Neumann established that one common form of a replicator has several parts:
• A genome, a compact, usually error-resistant representation of the replicator’s stored algorithm.[citation needed] Biologically, this is DNA.
• A specialized set of mechanisms to copy and repair the genome, using resources gathered by the body. Biologically, this is something like DNA polymerase.
• A body, which gathers resources and energy, and interprets a stored algorithm. Biologically, these are ribosomes.
Exceptions to this pattern are possible. For example, scientists have successfully constructed RNA that copies itself in an “environment” that is a solution of RNA monomers and transcriptase. In this case, the body is the genome, and the specialized copy mechanisms are external.
As you can see that continued conditioning of our DNA by this negative programming could definitely have an effect on the generations. And this I believe has been going on for quite some time.

Dear Joe..
you are an angel I believe. I attracted the book The secret to me last fall..seriously ..i will tell the story another time..and then last week I was in our local library making some copies/doing research ..I went to the front desk to pay for my copies and the woman working behind the counter was refiling the DVD the secret..which I have been attracting ..so I checked it out. That same day I had an unfortuante situation happen on the property I live on –as a renter–it certainly wasn’t the first time i had been harassed..but I felt it was the last..I had to stay in town for business..so I went downstairs in the library and put the DVD in and watched it intently.
I left the library feeling liberated. I have been using the techinques in my daily life/meditations since I found the book..but the DVD is nice because I got th “meet” those that profess its success..people like you and all the others in the movie..made it more real to me.
Anyway ..long story short..I had come home reluctantly due to the dispute..was angry and felt physically ill..I watched the DVD again..and the part about the FEELINGS hit me..I was feeling all of this negative emotions ..that I have felt for sometime but repressed them until..that day..
So I wrote my caretaker a long 7 page letter..stating how I wanted out of my lease that I had just signed..due to the harassment and intimidation that has been going on for years from the neighbor..I had had enough.
I felt great after acknowleding the issues and releasing them. The next day I started looking for a new place to move..with my dog..who seems to be the reason for half of the attacks on me..but I meditated that I wanted a place that was quiet..no squabbling neighbors with lots of room for my dog for around 1200 dollars in a specific area..I looked in the paper..and boom THERE IT WAS..today I am meeting with my new landlord to go over the details..it’s truly amazing …how intentions work..and the secret techniques. Now I do have to let the universe figure out the how financially this will happen..but I trust and believe it will .
I love your no nonsense approach on the DVD and do hope to order lots of your DVD’s and other things..you are my guru so to speak.

“The Missing Secret” was a quality NGC release so I’ll probably end up with this new one as well. I enjoy the products that contain workbooks and DVD bonus material quite a bit as it allows me to immerse in the experience and really have fun with it.
Joe, I bought the program and am writing a blog about it called http://hollyisattractingmoney.blogspot.com/. I have just finished the 2nd CD and am loving the program so far!! I feel this program has come into my life at the right time and I can already feel the shift within me as I begin to release my unhelpful beliefs about money. Step 1: Give it away, don’t hold on to money fearing it won’t come back to you! Give where you feel the spiritual nudge…SPCA here I come!!
I just have a question. Do you think younger people have fewer negative beliefs to clear, and is easier to clear them because they havn’t been instilled as long?
