The What If Up Club

Mindy Audlin is one of my favorite people.

She’s charming, smart, upbeat, and a remarkable speaker and teacher. We held an event together two years ago where I first learned about her What If Up game.

It was life changing.

The best way to understand how it works is to realize the favorite question of the mind is “What if?”

But for most of us that question is asked in a negative, or down, way.

We ask “What if this doesn’t work out?” or “What if I lose my job?” or “What if I’m wrong?”

Obviously, that negative seeking question doesn’t feel good, and leads to attracting the fears it focuses on.

But Mindy asks you to do a what if UP.

You might ask, “What if this works out beautifully?” or “What if there was never a problem in the first place?” or “What if I get a raise?” or “What if my idea makes me a millionaire?”

This single adjustment in how you ask a question transforms you, your energy, and the very answers you get.

PS — The seminar Mindy and I conducted was called The Secret of Money. See www.mindyaudlin.com/secretofmoney.htm

Note: This Tuesday will be the release of the all new edition of The Attractor Factor. What if it becomes the book of the year for you? For Oprah? For the world? What if???

    What If

Two very powerful words…when followed by a desire, want, or aspiration.

Just saying them raises your energy.

I always say it’s simple to change your mind and that will
change your moment. Do that enough times and you can
    change your life.

    Thanks for sharing this, Joe.

    Hey Joe,

For those of us that have cut ourselves off of the rest of the world’s TV, is there a place where we can see the infomercial?

  3. September 14, 2008 at 11:53 am

Joe, how funny…I just watched a vid of you on you tube after being at a short tony robbins event, and, about 7 years ago I was at his unleash the power within seminar, and he said, “to the more beautiful question, always a more beautiful answer”

It makes sense and it works, BIG time…so when I wake up in the morning, I always ask, “what beautiful things will today bring me”…and I always answer, “only beautiful things”….and of course, it’s working 🙂

    thanks Joe!

// The point is to raise your energy, get into the feeling of what you want, and let that experience attract the end result to you. //

Ooo… you’ve immediately hooked me! I love love LOVE working the LOA, but I have to admit that sometimes it’s hard to imagine the “as if”. This is a lovely shorthand that sounds like it would sneak in past the defenses (like a good story can).

Thanks! I’m going to try this tomorrow morning during my meditation and visualization time!

Man there you say something! I always say; I don’t want to wake up someday and think about my life and think; What if, or what would have etc etc.. I rather go flat on my face and stand up and do it again and again.. hahahahaha..

I am Alive and Kicking where still a lot of people will wake up someday and think, wow my life is nearly at it’s end, what have I done in my life that expresses me and expands my energy for the better? Don’t ya just love life? I do..

    Joe,

Thank you. What if your blogs were one of my favorite? This will help me get through the day. Also that you for posting the link up about the Secret of Money seminar because the link was obsolete when you mentioned it in the online resources in your hit Zero Limits. I Love You Joe! I can’t wait for your seminar Tuesday. What if your Attractor Factor for Money seminar be exciting? I love Mindy too! When are you doing another seminar with Dr. Hew Len. When you see him, tell him I love him too! I feel the love!

Thanks for sharing this. What a great concept – turning something that is often used negatively into a positive tool. I immediately joined.

Wow! I just received your email about this post Joe. I’ve just written a post myself about motivation and was thinking – what if (not in those terms though) this gets a Stumble or 2 and becomes a high traffic post. That’s how the law of attraction works I guess. I now know I’ll get those Stumbles. Thanks Joe – uplifting stuff as always.

What an unbelievably great post Joe. Thanks for sharing the positive direction “What if questions” and the philosophy around it. There’s actually a series of Radio Shack Commercials using this exact principle. But I never thought of thinking in this way for my own life. Though I’ve known about the power of Magic Questions for many years and use it all of the time.

What if I start my days from now on coming up with the most amazing and positive questions? What if I’m able to heal and rejuvenate everyone on the planet with the amazing youth restoring secrets I’m teaching others? What if each day became incredibly fun and exciting just because I’ve learned to ask these positive direction “What IF” questions.

I’m going to really explore this idea.

    A Billion Thanks,

    Hi Joe

As always, love your blogs. Indeed, what if is a nice way to put a positive thing on things! But again we are just trying to justify our intellect. What if we could let go and just trust in God?? LOL…if only we could do that! Good luck on your book release.

I’ve been doing this since I learned it from Abraham-Hicks years and years ago. It’s something they’re constantly telling people to do to raise their vibration.

Wow Joe. That’s a very helpful and wonderful article. Thanks so much.

To be completely honest, I was getting fatigued from all your emails promoting your miracles coaching. It’s great that you are still delivering great value to your ‘fans’ like you always do including the article above.

    Joe,

You know what this reminds me of. This reminds me of Step 1 and 2 of the Attractor Factor. Step 1 which is the springboard the list of complaints and step 2 is to flip them around into the intention except you’re flipping negative what if questions into positive ones. This is Attractor Factor is Interrogative format.
