The reason you don’t personally know a lot of people is because of your brain.

The reason most of the six billion people you don’t know are grouped into categories is because of your brain.

Appears our noggins can only hold about 150 people — people you know the first name of and feel comfortable with.

Beyond that amount your brain lumps people into things like races, stereotypes, organizations, cultures, etc.

This is all because of something called the MonkeySphere.

Since I’ve been recording and filming all week and am bushed right now, I don’t have the time or energy to explain this concept to you.

But someone else has already done so.

His writing is excellent, and for mature audiences only, and located at www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/monkeysphere.html

Watch your bananas and go read it.

The main theme to emerge… is that there appear to be two modes of thinking, verbal and nonverbal, represented rather separately in left and right hemispheres respectively and that our education system, as well as science in general, tends to neglect the nonverbal form of intellect. What it comes down to is that modern society discriminates against the right hemisphere.
    -Roger Sperry (1973)

Our right and left brain hemispheres are contantly at odds with one another! Give into your creative urges and find the balance.

Just tell your left brain that you don’t want to do the wash or cut the grass right now. Tell your left brain it is time for a little snooze and allow your right brain to take over. It is hard for us though, however it allows us to become better problem solvers, understand why it is so important to forgive and avoid that migraine headache.
